I have had to replace a chip on the original toner to the new (non-brother) aftermarket toner, which now works (for now). and built-in software stops the printer dead from printing anything else (when I know the toner printed perfectly last print and still has toner in it). Update: Dropped to 2 stars because the original perfectly-printing-toner has run out. Otherwise, fast, reliable printing, including double-sided

I have used mainly after-market consumables and have few problems, although it's been increasingly difficult to trick the printer that a full after-market toner is not empty. Have used this model or past variants for several years. Duplex printing is fast as well.Things I like - Large 250 sheet paper tray- Duplex printing- Reasonably fast printing 30 PPM- 4 in 1 printerThings I don’t like - Nothing so far. Then I completed the wifi setup from the printer using the LCD display.At work - It stays in sleep mode and respond very quickly when you send something for printing. But, I didn’t have any luck after trying three times. Followed the guidance on screen to set up wifi. Downloaded the printer software from the Brother website (instead on using the CD ROM as I don’t have CD drive). Print, Copy, Scan and FaxPackaging - Like most other Brother product, it was shipped nicely packed.What comes in the box - Printer, phone cable for fax connection, power cable, quick start guide, CD for installationSet up process - Unpacked and put the toner cartridge in. It was a network printer, but the network function stopped working so looked for a wireless mono laser printer where my wife can print from her android phone.Got a good deal on Black Friday from what I can see the price now.It is a 4 - in - one printer.
